Mosasaur Jaw Section

This beautiful section of mosasaur is believed to be from the species ermiasaurus heterodontus a member of the mosasaur family. It was Found in the Kem Kem beds in Morocco

there is evidence of polyphodontry, (constant grown and replacement of teeth, unlike humans) by the empty tooth cavity below one of the teeth, as shown in the photographs.

this piece Shows minor signs of repair in the teeth, the tips appear to have been repaired as shown in photographs.
